Citrios

A planet with extremely fertile soil and perfect growing conditions for crops. While Veniscis produces the most meat, Citrios grows the most produce. Vegetables, tubers, and grains are most of what is produced here, however some types of fruit that do well in the climate are also grown. Most of the planet is either forests, tropical forests, or grasslands. There are no oceans on the planet, just a large network of rivers and seas breaking up the land. The poles are significantly colder than the rest of the planet, being nothing more than snowy deserts. The fauna here are simple and small, with no large predators to threaten Virilian activity. Most mammalian and avian life are considered pests that disrupt farming, and many insect species have been entirely eradicated in the pursuit of increased production. Imported work animals such as Paraquis also have disrupted the local ecosystem’s balance. Farming has destroyed much of the native populations of wildlife due to habitat fragmentation and disruption. 

 

The massive farms across the planet’s surface each have complexes for workers to live in with access to all they need to survive healthily. Citrios is the safest exoplanet in the Virilian System, and therefore it has no military base. It is the most desirable exoplanet to work on due to its safe reputation, although those that live and work there would call it mind-numbingly mundane.
