Veniscis

Veniscis is an Archipelagic planet entirely made up of scattered islands, large and small, with countless rivers breaking up the land. Trees are similar to palms and do not grow very large. The terrain is dotted with shrubs, ferns, grasses, and fungi. All of the flora ranges from teal to blue to even purple in colour, with green actually being fairly uncommon. Most shorelines are made of fine white sand, but there are quite a few rocky beaches and tide pools. 80% of the animal life here consists of fish, with the rest being invertebrates, crustaceans and the occasional amphibian. Warm, shallow seas are abundant with coral reefs, although these habitats are at risk due to Virilian activity. Lakes are the only bodies of water that contain fresh water, everything else is salt water. There are no dangers to Viritails on land here, but fishers need to stay vigilant against goliaths in deep waters.

Veniscis is home to the biggest meat production factory in the Virilian System. Products here are made exclusively from fish meat. Meat is sourced both from fishing and farming. Viritails who live here must have fruit and most vegetables imported from Androlla or Hysia to obtain all their necessary nutrients. Early expeditions here ironically ended with the explorers contracting scurvy, despite the original good outlook on food supply from local fauna. “Don’t go without fruit” is a common saying referring to this event, and is used to remind others to not leave without vital supplies.
